Languages Different languages are spoken in different parts of our country. Most of above languages have rich literary wealth. Great books have been written in this languages. ] A ¸ ఙ அ ઑ

Our Costumes Dresses worn by Indians very from region to region.
Each state has its own traditional dress for men and women. Sari with blouse is the most common wear through the style differ in different states.

Our religions A variety of religions is found in this country.
People are free to believe in their own religions. Some of the religions are most commonly practiced in India are Hinduism, Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Bihar, and Judaism. All these religion give respect to each other.

Our festival India is land of festivals. Christmas, Id, Diwali, Holi, Dussehra, Dugra puja, Guruparv, Buddha purnima, Rama Navami, Ganesh Chaturthi etc. are religion of Indians. They also mark the change of seasons. The Independence day (15th August), Gandhi jayanti (2nd October) and the republic day (26th January) are our national days.

Music and Dance We have a long traditional in music and dance dating back to the earliest times. They form an important part of our culture. Folk dance is very popular songs. Bhangra gidda (Punjab), Ghoomar (Rajasthan), Garba, Dandia ras (Gujarat), Bihu (asom), Rouf (Jammu and Kashmir),Tamashar (maharashtra), Kumbhi (Tamil nadu), Kaikottikali (kerala), Burrakatha (Andhra Pradesh) etc. are the common folk dance of India.

Classical Music Classical music is different from flok music. Classical music in India is of two major types Hindustani music, and Karnataka music etc. Instrument music has also been very popular in our country. Important musical instruments are flute, veena, sitar, tabla, dholak, mridangam and shehnai.

Classical Dances The classical dances of India are mostly related and began as forms of worship. The following are the main classical dance forms of India.

Paintings The art treasures of India are among the greatest in the world. Some of the finest sculptures and paintings are found in 28 caves at Ajanta. The Ajanta paintings have rich and varied shades of yellow, brown, red and green colors. This paintings were drawn by ‘Buddha bhiksus’.
