Two stage Bidding Process NOTE: A two stage bidding process will be followed for this bid/tender, under which first un-priced technical proposal on the basis of a conceptual design are invited, subject to technical / functional evaluation. First stage The first stage of evaluation will be based on paper and presentations as set out in this bid / tender document. All bidders who scores less than 70% on technical / functionality and presentations shall not be considered for second stage. Second stage Companies that qualified on first stage will be issued with an amended bid / tendering document for submission of final proposal including price. All Bidders that were considered for stage two will be evaluated on Price and BEE.

Functional criteria Weightings Portfolio of evidence and company profile Please provide RAF with the portfolio of work done and the company profile. The portfolio must consist of corporate wear work done before, name of the company, contact person, Contact person address and contact number. The profile should include the whole history of the company. 25%

Functional criteria Weightings Project implementation and rollout plan The service provider must provide RAF with the project implementation and rollout plan that will include all requirement as set out in this tender document. Presentations Companies will be required to do presentations to RAF on corporate wear work done previously and must bring samples to show. Companies will be required to do presentations on proposed designs of the required corporate wear, as set out in this tender document and must provide samples to show. 10% 65% Total 100%

Submission of bid responses
Original signed bid document 4 hard copies Submitted in sealed envelopes Each schedule must be clearly distinguish, indexed and all pages numbered

Disqualification of bids
Bidders shall be disqualified if they fail to: Submit a valid and original tax clearance certificate Complete questionnaires in full Submit true and correct information Comply with mandatory requirements Comply with prescribed response format

Purpose of the RFP RAF is a client –oriented service delivery organization that renders a service to the public. It is important for our staff that deal directly with the public or claimant to be easily identifiable. Note that the RAF staff are based nationally in all regions. Some are office bound based in provincial offices, hospitals, community service centres.Others are outbound and mobile i.e information collection and patient outreach pragramme . Their uniform should suite their work environment, designed to accommodate their day to day operations. However, the uniform should still maintain the same identity / traits.

Purpose of RFP (continue)
RAF is going through a transformation process. One of our main objectives is to build and sustain a corporate image - internally and externally. Thus our uniform need to meet the following standards: - Have a professional Image; - Be easily associated with our brand which is warm ,caring, energetic; - Be in line with our Corporate Identity; - Be of best quality; - Longevity i.e. prolonged existence; - Uniform material should take into account coastal vs inland; -Uniform should strike a balance between the conservative and not so conservative individuals; - Give employees sense of pride to be seen in them.
