Polycom VVX 400 Simply hold down one of the black buttons to the right or left of the screen and a template will appear. We will fill out the top three fields using the old T9 technology, then touching SAVE at the bottom left of the screen.

times to enter in “i” for Mike. You may need to use the directional pad as well.

Polycom VVX 400 To place a phone call, all you need to do is dial a number or extension using the phone’s dial pad (No need to dial “1” or “9” first) Then Select Either the ‘Send’ soft key, lift the receiver, select the speakerphone button, or select the headset button.

When a call is active, select the ‘Transfer’ soft key (doing this places your active call on hold)

Polycom VVX 400 Now enter the phone number or extension that you want to transfer the call to (this calls the second party)

(This connects the person you had on hold to the person you called)

Polycom VVX 400 Now enter the extension, or phone number you want to transfer the call to, followed by send. The difference with a blind transfer is that after you enter in the extension or phones number, or you select lines and then select the desired line, the call will be removed from your phone, and sent to the desired party.

When a call is active, select the ‘More’ soft key (Shown Left) to bring up the image on the right. Now select ‘Conference’

Polycom VVX 400 Now enter the phone number or extension that you want to Conference with, you can also choose lines… Then press Send…

Polycom VVX 400 When the second party answers, select ‘More’ to bring up the screen on the right. Selecting conference will bring the calls together.
