RegionsAdapt is the first global initiative for regional governments to act, cooperate, and report efforts on climate adaptation. It also includes seven working groups on key priority topics. The first report of the initiative confirms regional governments as key actors in climate adaptation.

Side-event: Infrastructure resilience under growing stress from urbanization and climate change: Experiences from countries, regions and cities in Latin America
This panel, jointly presented by the German cooperation GIZ, RegionsAdapt and ECLAC, will showcase the experiences of diverse sectors in South American countries, regions and cities on Disaster Risk Reduction, Adaptation to Climate Change and building of resilience in infrastructure planning.
