General rule of thumb to left-justify dates. Some of your activities or honors wont be necessary on EVERY resume Since readers are most likely to read information closer to the top of the page, place your most impressive experiences first. If the company values problem solving, for example, or taking the initiative or being a team player, then be sure to include activities and honors from your list that demonstrate that you possess those skills Remember that this section: Helps you stand out from the crowd Demonstrate your qualifications for the position Be selective, relevant to the company values/job
