We will have time each day for a snack before recess
We will have time each day for a snack before recess. Please send a small, healthy snack for your child. Healthy snack ideas: cheese and crackers, yogurt, veggies and dip, pretzels and cheese, fruit and half a sandwich. Eating healthy acts as “brain food” If your child has allergies, let me know so our aide and I can ensure they sit at the correct table during snack time.

Homework will be sent home each Monday with a newsletter.
It should be returned each Friday. The packet will be sent back home on the following Monday with the new packet.

Sight Words There is a list of words in your folder.
These are the words your child should be able to read by the end of kindergarten. 31 are basic kindergarten words and the rest are from the first 100 High Frequency words. I will be sending home sight word flashcards for your child to study. When they are ready to test, just return the note that is attached to the words.
