Cascade Ridge Elementary COYOTE CODE
Be Safe Be Kind Do Your Job For those of you who were at Cascade Ridge last year, you know we have a Coyote Code. Who can tell me what it is? (student answers – three parts) (Kindergarten skip this part and just go straight into the intro). Well, we thought that sometimes solve problems, make good choices, and respect others might not be specific enough. So, all the teachers and Mrs. Fowler got together to see if we can make the Coyote Code much easier to understand and follow for EVERYONE. So, now, the Coyote Code is: Be Safe, Be Kind, and Do Your Job. Over the next few days, we are going to learn about what it means to be safe, be kind and do your job in different areas of the school. We are going to learn, practice and review a lot these first few weeks. And next week (September 7th), we will be starting a school wide reward system where when an adult like an EA, a specialist, Mrs. Fowler or Mrs. Sehlin, see you being safe, being kind or doing your job, you or your class will earn a Coyote Coin. I’ll tell you more about Coyote Coins and what you all can use them for later! For now, we are going to learn about expected behavior in areas of the school outside our classroom.
