Khelshala An NGO launched in Aug 2009 at village Attawa – Chandigarh, India Has touched the lives of over 200 children in the last 7 years Currently serving core group of 60 Attawa (squash facility) and Majra Punjab (tennis facility) Affiliated to National Urban Squash + Education Association (NUSEA)

Vision: Create social change and transform the lives of underprivileged youth by cultivating in them a passion for living through hard work and dedication. By introducing a lifetime sport to last a lifetime, Khelshala strives for “development with no turning back”.. Mission: Khelshala is committed to enhance the future of underprivileged children by building life skills through sport, academics and extra-curricular activities. Khelshala aims to be a leader in the movement to leverage sport to achieve social change in India, one village at a time.

KHELSHALA ACHIEVERS CLUB K.A.C.
Welcome to the Khelshala Achievers Club, where your contributions can help change a child's life. Khelshala aims to recognize and encourage 15 high achieving students (or potentially high achieving) through our new initiative, known as the Khelshala Achievers Club (K.A.C.). This would enable greater success for high achieving students. Collectively, the Khelshala Achievers Club will represent the best that Khelshala has to offer, and provide an incentive for other students and parents to seek excellence in their endeavours.

Some of our Achievements to Date:
2009 – present - our Academic component has helped to achieve a 100% pass rate at school for all our children. one of our girls scored 80% average in her 10th grade exams and was offered a place at an elite Sacred Heart school for girls. Khelshala opened Computer Learning Centre – supported by State Bank of India.

Some of our Achievements to Date:
Khelshala had its first student attend college, studying Bachelors in Computer Applications. Manish Kumar was given a grant of Rs. 10,000 to help and encourage him to complete his degree. We are glad to report that he continues to be on this path. 2015 – Our first girl attends college, studying BA in psychology. She will receive an academic grant providing she achieves an average of 70% scores each year at college. 2016 – Khelshala admits 1 girl and 1 boy to a private school starting in grade 4. 2016 – November 2016 Khelshala runs it’s 1 st National Circuit Junior Squash tournament
