3. Welcome to Guinebor II Hospital!

4. Guinebor II (G2) is based near N’Djamena, the capital of Chad
Guinebor II (G2) is based near N’Djamena, the capital of Chad. Chad remains one of the poorest countries in the world. As a Christian hospital, doctors and nurses at G2 offer to pray with patients from the muslim-majority community they serve.

5. What’s happening in Chad?
There are no midwives or doctors present at 75 per cent of births.
Chad also has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world.
Nearly 40 per cent of children suffer from stunted growth due to malnutrition.

6. How is BMS helping? By building a new maternal health centre
Opened in 2015, it now safely delivers over 100 babies every month!
We are working to prevent illness
BMS supports two malnutrition workers for children, and provides practical items (such as mosquito nets) to fight diseases.
By running Christian outreach
BMS supports the hospital chaplain and his prayer and outreach programme.
