Current situation
Statistics of births and deaths – based on agreement between Ministry of the Interior and Statistical Office the data from the registry of births and deaths are submitted.
Statistics of births covers all the live birth cases signed in Birth Registry, whose mothers have a permanent or temporary residence on the territory of Montenegro. Ministry of the Interior has an electronic database.
Statistics of deaths covers all the cases of deaths signed in Death Registry, whose permanent or temporary residence is on the territory of Montenegro. Ministry of the Interior has an electronic database.
Statistics of marriages – the source of data is Marriage Certificate lead by the local administrative authority. The data are delivered in paper form.
Statistics of divorces – the source of data are Basic courts which are in charge of divorces. The data are delivered in paper form.

Joint Questionnaire – from 2008 , 17 out of 28 tables are delivered, with comparative definitions. Optional tables on estimated number of people according to their marriage status and education, tables of live births according to marriage status of mother and the order of childbirth as well as the data of abortions are not submitted;
Rapid Questionnaire – submitted for 2012 without data on life expectancy and the live born children out of marriage;

Current situation
Census of population, households, and dwellings – in accordance with Regulative 763/2008 conducted from 1st - 15th April 2011 year by an interview method;
The first final data are published on 12th July 2011;
All the data concerning population and dwellings are processed;
On the site 14 reports for population and 4 reports for dwellings are published, as well as detailed excel tables on the national, municipalities and settlements level;
Population projection till are done.
