An Apprenticeship program involves periods of work with a certified tradesperson and some time in the classroom. Many of these programs advertise through newspapers, television, and phone books. The Guidance Office has some Private Training Colleges resources.

18 College and University Pathway
A few last comments: Budget your post-secondary schooling with your parents. OSAP applications open in spring. Earlier you apply the better, but there is no hard ‘deadline’. Pay attention to the conditions of your offer. Find out about supports at your school!

19 Conclusion Communicate with School Liasions
Talk to Guidance, Teachers, Parents, etc. Hand in the Grad Surveys on your way out. Have a Plan!
