In 2006 the Foundation for Promoting Arts Education Board of Directors sought to launch a capital campaign for a school building project. With some generous grants, the dream of bringing a regional school focused on the performing arts to a rural community was going to soon become a reality.

In 2006 the Foundation for Promoting Arts Education 501(c)(3) Board of Directors agreed to launch a capital campaign for a school building project.

With the programming and conceptual design completed, FPAE will commence construction of the North State Children's Theater 501(c)(3) in 2012 with the theater ready for its grand opening in fall 2014.
