Reactions of Others- what others generally think of them or how they react to them
Appearance- what they physically look like

Attempts to solve conflict- leading to the climax

12. Conflict The struggle between two forces in the story.
Internal: character faces a struggle
within himself
(man vs. self)
External: Character faces struggle with an outside force

13. 3. Climax The climax is the “high point” or “turning point.”
Usually the main character comes face to face with a conflict – overcoming it or being overcome by it.
