Common Reason For A Slow Computer
Not having enough RAM Uninstall unused programs To remove these click "Start" then go to "Control Panel" then click "Programs and Features" and scroll through the list, uninstalling the ones you never use. A slow running computer is often due to viruses and spyware 1- 1- Whenever you use internet Explorer all your browsing history remains in the depths of your PC. The same thing happens when you install something. It's like never throwing away the packaging when you buy a new TV and by doing so it'll free-up space on your system. 2- Spring clean your whole system using this built-in tool which looks for unnecessary large files. 3- When you buy a new PC the chances are there are a load of programs pre-installed onto it. Old PCs can simply accumulate these over time. Most of these you'll never use and some of them can often run in the background without you knowing, slowing your computer down in the process.

Common Reason For A Slow Computer
Another cause can be programs running in the background. Many times when installing new software, by default they're designed to run when Windows starts. You can look in the tray at the bottom right of the screen to see all the installed software that's running. You can usually stop these from starting with Windows by open “ msconfig ” -> How ? Use the keyboard shortcut “Windows Key + R” and the “Run” window will open. In the start text box, write “msconfig” and press Enter or OK and the MsConfig window will open. Also, in Windows 10, Windows 8, you can open the Run window from the shortcuts menu in the bottom left corner

Common Reason For A Slow Computer

You can also try disabling browser plug-ins to see if one of them is causing the slowness Reinstall the windows 1- Don't be scared by the description, it's essentially a way to optimize your hard drive's efficiency.

Dead PC
24
Dead PC First check the cable. Unplug it from the computer and the outlet. Re-plug in both sides and try booting it again. Check the wall outlet. Plug something else into the outlet and see if it works. Reach behind the machine and see if you feel air blowing out of the power supply. If you do, then you know the machine is getting some power. Look at the keyboard for the indicator lights being lit up as the machine boots. Report observance to the technical help. Sometimes the monitor has something to do with the system acting up. Unplug the power cord from the monitor and the wall and re plug it. Unplug the cable from the computer to the monitor and re plug it into the monitor. Try rebooting. Listen to identify a beeping series if there is one, take note of the kind of beep and report it to the technician. Turn in all observations to the technician who will service the unit.
