Science/Social Studies:
Mrs. Hake’s Classroom News Friday, Sept. 23rd edition Sneak Peak AT NEXT WEEK Week in Review: This week we met Edna the Elephant and learned all about the letter Ee. As we write, we continue to work on writing the sounds we hear. We loved learning about our five senses and how they help us learn about our world . We enjoyed exploring rhymes in our Nursery Rhymes. And learning how illustrations help to tell the story. We continued learning about various patterns (ab, abb, abc, aab...). We also continued with sorting by various attributes. The number of rainbow words we know continues to grow! We’ve practiced our rainbow words by clapping, stomping, and completing pages where we trace it, circle it, color it and build it. Theme for the Week: Colors and shapes Math: Numbers 0-5 Science/Social Studies: Equations/color mixing Language Concepts: Dd/Pp Popcorn Word: Said/like Next Week’s Food: Twizzlers Upcoming Events: October – Grandparent’s School Lunch Week October 21 – In Service-No Classes October 28 – Halloween Parties Contact info: Kari Hake
