Equipment Rentals Recommended Sources – AJO4LAX.com $80 Rental Packages AJO4LAX will provide a rental package of the following equipment for $80: Helmet, Gloves, Shoulder Pads, Arm Pads, Stick (partial packages available) Total retail to purchase similar equipment: $250 - $300 Security deposit check for $250 is required (check returned at the end of the season when you return the equipment). Do not provide cleats, cup or mouthpieces

Pope Junior Greyhound Lacrosse is a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance Coaching Philosophy defined as: Winning (important) Teaching Life Lessons (more important) Honor the Game/ROOTS of positive play means respect for: R – ules O – pponents O – fficials T – eammates S – elf Expecations we set with our coaches is to give equal playing time.

10 Your Role as a Parent Honor the Game/ROOTS of positive play
“Game Day Tips” Ex: Before the Game – tell your child you are proud of him/her regardless of the outcome of the game Ex: During the Game – Encourage don’t Coach Ex: After the Game – Avoid the post game analysis – let your child tell you about the game Ex: What if…the official makes a bad call…Honor the Game – let the coaches deal with it

Give 100% at practice and during games Mistakes are OK, that is how we learn. Respect all coaches and teammates Honor the Game/ROOTS of positive play means respect for: R – ules O – pponents O – fficials T – eammates S – elf
