Core Values Be Unique We don’t mimic others. Uniqueness is the value that sets us apart. If It’s not unique, we cannot succeed. Embrace & Create Change We embrace change. Through facing our fear of change we are able to learn form it and move on. Where there is no precedent we initiate and innovate. KISS – Keep it Simple & Speedy We keep it simple. We do not unnecessarily over complicate. Speed keeps us ahead. Act With Your Own Initiative “I was told to do so” or “I had to do it” are reactive. Through feeling empowered to do something under our own steam we move our ideas forward. Focus on Your Own Responsibility We take pride in our own work and perform it as we should and beyond. Put Your Heart Into It Our contribution comes from the heart. We are passionate about what we do. Enjoy Your Work The enjoyment of our work is seen in the pride we have in our workplace and spread beyond our working day. ADVANEX has 7 core values that are shared across the globe. Our core values are integral to our business and help us to exceed the expectations of our customers, suppliers and team members. It is our working style and sense of value. It is important for us to keep them at the front of our mind and review regularly.

CoilThread® Wire Thread Inserts
CoilThread® Tangless Inserts With over 25 years of experience, our inserts meet all commercial standards and full traceability is provided for customer peace of mind Free of Foreign Object Debris No tang to break off, retrieve, lose or count. The Tangless design saves time and reduces risk of foreign objects remaining within a critical application Materials The standard range is manufactured from diamond shaped cold-rolled Type 304 Stainless Steel wire (AS7245), which is finished to provide a surface which is exceedingly smooth, virtually eliminating friction-induced thread erosion. Saving Time Bi-directional design eliminates the need to orientate the inserts for installation significantly reducing installation and inspection time. Strip Feed packaging also speeds installation time. Quality Tangless Inserts conforms to all major global specifications Reusable The quick easy removal means no damaged threads and this non-destructive removal prevents damage to expensive machined parts or castings.

Coil Springs Advanex is a world leading spring manufacturer, and are known world wide for their springs and other precision components and supply many of the world leading across the globe. With a huge range of equipment, materials and skill available we can product Compression, Torsion and Tension springs in just about any material or size and can provide small to large volume manufacture. Our engineers can help you find the optimum design for your device, ensuring your product is no bigger than it has to be, whilst giving you the performance you require We have facilities around the world to make small quantities economically by hand methods, as well as medium and high volumes by automatic CNC controlled machinery and our own custom designed equipment With miniaturisation of electronic devices Advanex have taken a step ahead by producing micro torsion spring with wire diameters as small as 15 Microns and we are constantly looking to go even smaller Extension Springs Torsion Springs Compression Springs
11
Wire Shapes and Forms Advanex have experience and knowledge of wire forming a diverse range of specialist materials. And as small as just 15 microns. Our engineering and design team can support our customers with the design and development of the optimum product and production solution for their application Optimum Design Wire shapes can be used to provide a spring function, or they can be used as rigid members to provide location for mating parts. There is an infinite variety of shapes, and our design team can help determine the optimum shape and size to achieve your needs. Usage Wire Forms have many uses and possess an equally large array of shapes and sizes. They can be anything from a load supporting link with negligible deflection to a tension applying component where a static load is necessary for proper function of an assembly. Other applications might include conductors, clips, or clamps. In some cases they may be able to replace conventional springs and help eliminate the need for other components, therefore, reducing the associated costs.
12
Pressings There is an infinite variety of shapes of flat springs and pressings only limited by imagination, but it requires the support of an experienced design team to ensure the right design solution is achieved for functionality and form. Materials Spring steels, stainless steels, Copper alloys, Nickel alloys, and a range of special materials such as Titanium, Elgilloy, Hastelloy, Kanthal etc. Processes Hand manufacturing, Press work, Multi-slide manufacture, Photo-etching, Laser Cutting, Wire eroding, Vibro-deburring, Barrelling, Shot peening Finishes Electroplating, Organic Zinc coatings, Autophoretic painting, Phosphating, Oiling, or as required Reduced Scrap This reduction in scrap material benefits our customers with not only the cost but reduces the overall affect to the environment.
13
Insert Collars Plastic components and assemblies are used extensively by the Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, and Commercial Industries. Although the variety of plastic applications are endless, and design requirements are diverse, there is one common denominator - they all require reliable fastening Less than 0.1 mm gap ensures no leaking or plastic flash Advanex’s Height Tolerance is ±0.005 mm Competition’s is ±0.15 – 0.2 mm Advanex Insert Collars are compression limiters designed to safeguard plastic the components of an assembly. Insert Moulding Insert Moulding components combine metal and polymer materials. This requires various factors to be correct to achieve precision components at efficient production speeds. Advanex combines plastic injection moulding technology, with extensive metal stamping skills, in a single production line to achieve the highest quality from high volume production.
15
LockOne Our initial tests shows that the spring device performs as a viable locking solution, but is also a re-usable and non destructive method of locking and unlocking the nuts and bolt joint Revolutionary Approach Advanex Europe are proud to introduce the new revolution in thread locking, with our spring technology and expertise we have designed a range (M5 to M24) of special spring devices for preventing nut & bolt joints from loosening through vibration. Ease of Use The spring is applied using a normal spanner or socket wrench and when the nut is tightened onto a bolt, it grips the bolt thread and prevents the nut from loosening.
16
Deep Drawn Components The critical feature of any deep drawn component is the ratio between the length and diameter, known as the limiting drawing ratio (LDR) Advanex can currently produce components well in excess of forty times length as opposed to diameter (LDR 40:1) but we are constantly challenging our technology and are pushing the boundaries Process Deep drawing is a process which uses tensile forces to stretch metal to a cylindrical shape, these have been used across a wide range of industries from electronics, medical, cosmetic and other consumer products. Function From a functional standpoint, deep drawn metal forming produces high strength and light weight parts as well as incorporating shapes and forms impossible with some other manufacturing processes. Cost Saving Deep drawn metal forming is particularly economical at high volumes, where reduced processing cost significantly lowers piece-part cost. At smaller volumes, the process can be more economical than progressive die stamping due to reduced tool costs Advantages Deep drawn components offer the advantage of being able to replace several components within a device or product with one formed part
17
Deep Drawing Capability
Advanex Group acquired Funabashi Electronics Company Ltd, a leader in deep drawing technology, in April Business development has led to a total 196 Amada and AIDA presses ranging from 80KN to 800KN across two Japanese production sites, producing a product range from 1mm to 20mm outside diameter, with a diameter to draw ratio of 40 Raw Materials Brass BeCu Phosphor Bronze Ni Silver SUS Al Applications Probe pin Audio Visual Connectors Vibration Motor Automotive Sensors
