Horsetails: very few species on earth

4. Seed Plants Seed plants have 2 characteristics:
They have vascular tissue
They use pollen and seeds to reproduce
Pollen Grain: contains male gametophyte (sperm cells)
Ovule: contains female gametophyte (egg cells) forms seed after fertilization.

Embryo: young plant that develops from fertilized egg.
