2 Habitat Live in central and western China.
Limited parts of Shensi, Szechuan, Kansu. Live in evergreen seed cones. Live in coniferous forest and thick bamboos at the elevation of 8,500 to 11,500 feet.

3 Interesting Facts Lifespan average over 20 years.
Gives birth to the maximum of two youth after a gestation period of 125 to 150 days. Known as an endanger species because only few exist. Famous for their black and white marking. Legs, ears, oval eye patches, and their shoulders are black and the rest is white.

4 More Interesting Panda Facts
Open eyes at 6-8 weeks. Independent after a year. Classified as a carnivores. Don’t hibernate in winter. Good tree climbers. Have large wrist bone to hold onto bamboo. Weighs an average of 200 to 300 pounds. Around six feet tall. Disagreement between scientists whether it is a raccoon, bear or neither of them.

5 Cause of Endangered Pandas
Human population is increasing. Humans decrease areas for habitat. Bamboos dies offs. Pandas have too many predators.
