9 Email Etiquette Reminders
Include a greeting – just like in a written letter, it is nice to add a greeting such as “Dear Amelia” and a closing line such as “Thank you,” then your name. Be clear and concise – add a relevant subject line so the reader knows the topic. Avoid long, rambling messages, but provide enough details to make the message clear.

10 Email Etiquette Reminders
Check your tone – your reader may not be able to recognize your humor or sarcasm. In s, it is best to say things in the clearest way possible. Reply carefully – if your message is meant for just one reader, avoid the “reply all” option. Double check the CC and BCC fields to make sure you aren’t replying to everyone.

11 Email Etiquette Reminders
Review before sending – check for spelling/grammar errors and make sure you entered the correct address for the recipient. AVOID CAPS LOCK – writing in all caps is the same as shouting. Your reader may think you are angry or upset. Also, all caps are much more difficult to read.
