Northern Arizona University is honoring military personnel and veterans by offering Department of Defense Tuition Assistance rates for active duty , reservists, and National Guard personnel. The university also is offering in-state tuition for military veterans. Whether you are on active duty or a veteran, the NAU Office of Military and Veteran Affairs will help you find qualifying educational opportunities.
At this time we do not offer graduate assistantships to students taking classes statewide and online. However, please seek advisement from your employer for educational opportunities. Please also contact your specific department for information on departmental scholarships and tuition waivers opportunities.
For our online, non-Arizona resident students, you may be eligible for our World Wide University special tuition plan. Contact our Extended Campuses Service Center for more information.

For all new Flagstaff graduate students, you will attend the Graduate College’s graduate orientation in the Fall. For all new graduate students, including statewide and online students, please contact your department for departmental orientation dates.
