5 the left one is more expensive and requires more skills …

6 but to set up a profitable hedge cutting business, you would even invest in the 3rd one

7 so why not select MIS (as a tool), upon improvement of the profitability of your business

8 fast good cheap what about achieving significant improvement in quality and lead time and cost ?

10 Blue Label Digital: ‘case study’
Selection Implementation Automation Managing (with) data

11 Blue Label Digital: results
Profitable annual turnover growth of 63 % Delivery within 3 to 5 days 11,000 new products and 15,000 orders in 2015 and up to July in 2016 Decrease of errors Still only 2,5 people from Estimating to Order since 2014

12 Blue Label Digital: takeaways
Connect everybody in the company to the MIS, do not restrict the ‘users’. All have to collaborate, not just a few Appoint a project leader for implementation and make this his main task for some months. Implementation : you have to do it, not your supplier Use short training sessions (e.g. remote), they digest better Take the time to do it good and have everybody on board (do not make the implementation team run too fast) Find an MIS that fits your company’s policy : if you want to evolve, than look for an evolving MIS. If you want to do what you’ve always done, than look for an MIS that fits now, install and leave it untouched for 10 years. Automation does reduce setup time in production MIS can contribute to your profitability (good, fast, cheap)

13 Although all carrots may look tempting, you will only discover how good they are by eating them. So the CERM advice for selecting an MIS is : Visit our customers and discuss Test (taste) the software before you buy
