2 DDS Prerequisite Courses
At least 87 semester credits including: 8 credits of general biology or zoology with lab 8 credits of physics with lab 8 credits of general chemistry with lab 8 credits of organic chemistry with lab 3 credits of biochemistry

3 More Prerequisite Courses
3 credits of math (college algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics) 8 credits of English 3 credits of applied human psychology All prerequisite courses need to be completed with a grade of C or above. AP exam credit is accepted. 64 credits will be accepted from a community/technical college.

Academics-Cumulative, Science, and BCP GPAs DAT score – Most recent score counted Orientation to dentistry Minimum of 50 hours required (more is better) in various settings Personal statement and essays -Orientation to Dentistry Statement -Explanation of Academic Difficulties (if I, W, D, F) -Re-applicant Statement (if applicable) -Statement of Contribution to the Program/Diversity

Letters of recommendation - 2 from college science/math instructors -1 from supervisor (paid or volunteer position) Personal service orientation Volunteer specifically in the health care community Extracurricular activities Anything you do outside of school or work Leadership positions
