2. Geography
The Trnava region is one of the smallest regions of Slovakia in terms of both area and population.
The region has common borders with three countries: Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria.
The area is rich in water resources, with the rivers Danube, Váh and Morava.

The City Tower (in Slovak Mestská veža) is one of the most important historic monuments of Trnava.
The tower has a square ground plan in the shape of a solid prism with eight floors and is 57 metres high.
