Objectives:
Provision of sanitary epidemiology well-being of the population.
Development and implementation of preventive arrangements
Responsibilities:
Food quality and safety control during production, storage, transportation, and sales (inspection)
Application of administrative (punishment) arrangements
Sphere of influence: all state, cooperative. Private and other enterprises with following a principle of non-interference to the activities of state sanitary control bodies.

art.105 of Criminal Code – loss of health more than 10% or temporary disability 7-21 days
art.109 of Criminal Code – slight degree of disability up to 7 days.
