Procedure adopted Transmission optimized for +-8 mm height at target (y-direction) For fission fragments 134Sn transmission is estimated by Mocadi simulation as being between 35 and 38 % for all branches To improve the aberration correction, included additional 3rd-order correction at the ends of Pre- and Main-separators (correction of (x,ayy)). To improve the separation quality, in Pre-separator used 6-hexapole correction scheme instead of the 5-hexapole one adopted before. In case of small initial beam height this correction can be skipped. All additional corrections are performed by coils located inside existing quadrupoles.
