Present Perfect Continuous vs PP and Past S.
PPC is used to talk about situation in the past and are still going on in the present or that have just stopped and have present result. EXAMPLE: I have been going to gym classes. PP is used to talk about situations that have started in the past and continued to the moment of speaking (for/since) or that haven’t finished long ago (lately/recently). EXAMPLE: I have gone to gym classes recently. Past S is used to talk about situations that are finished. EXAMPLE: I went to gym classes yesterday.
