4 FRMS School Improvement Plan Goal: By the conclusion of the school year, 100% of FRMS staff will implement research-based instructional strategies and interventions based upon data-gathering and analysis completed during their instructional planning for all lessons. AVID Certification has moved to a school wide Approach. The new Certification tool has 4 Domains we will be evaluated on: Instruction Systems Leadership Culture AVID

5 It is all of our responsibility to implement AVID’s high- impact instructional strategies into our teaching. The FRMS AVID Site Team has identified areas of focus for staff throughout the school year. During the months of September and October, we will focus on Collaboration (the C of WICOR). All Teachers will need to submit one piece of AVID Evidence for Collaboration in September and one in October. Evidence will be submitted to the crates in the Professional Library. You will need to fill out and clip one of the WICOR slips onto your evidence submissions. We will share strategies during faculty meetings that you can use as this evidence, or you can submit a different Collaboration strategy you have implemented. AVID
