Demonstration videos Tech Support Squad Overdrive support team: What was Bookstream live streaming of audio has been transformed into RNIB Overdrive. Overdrive standard platform has been modified and our Overdrive library contains ONLY RNIB content. Link already from your library pages to Overdrive! Online today and tech support squad volunteers can provide support locally, in people’s homes RNIB Overdrive team can be contacted by on RNIB registered charity nos (England and Wales), SC (Scotland) and 1109 (Isle of Man)

Interactivity Easy to browse User Guides Independence – allows users to search across all formats Greater functionality – users can now select and add titles to their wishlists online Interactivity - reviews and articles – new ‘let’s talk about books page has quizzes and more interactive material Easy to browse – using ‘browse by category – fiction and non-fiction by genre and subject User Guides – for people who use screen readers, we have produced a user guide to explain the functionality of each page – downloadable from the website itself or via or post in any format. 5

E-newsletter Discovery tools – in all formats – braille, clear print and audio Read On magazine – twice a year, Spring and Autumn – 30 page magazine Read On e-newsletter – monthly linking to articles relating to the library, books and literature New Books – bi-monthly list of all new books added to the library, also available for download as a Word document from Genre lists – sample lists of books – not used so much now the website has genre lists live, but still valued by some readers 6
