1 Welcome to Sunny Hills!

2 At Sunny Hills we all do our part to keep our bathrooms very clean.

3 Only go in the bathroom if you need to go
Using the Bathroom Looks Like Only go in the bathroom if you need to go Keep hands, feet and eyes in your own personal space Find a stall or a urinal If you have to go, it goes only in the toilet Flush

4 Wash your hands with soap and water Wait for your turn
Using the Bathroom Looks Like Wash your hands with soap and water Wait for your turn Throw the paper towel in the trash can Ask an EA before leaving lunch or recess to go to the bathroom.

5 Telling your teacher or an EA if there is a problem in the bathroom
Using the Bathroom Sounds Like: Flushing toilets Water running Soap squirting Whisper voices Telling your teacher or an EA if there is a problem in the bathroom

6 Going out and Coming in from Recess
Looks Like Walking feet the whole way Slow down when you go around a corner Keep your hands and feet in your own personal space Go to the bathroom on your way to recess

Looks like Walk on the right side of the walkway Use the most direct path Walk where you will stay dry Only two students drop off lunch tub on the way to recess If you see a piece of trash, please pick it up and throw it away.

9 Pump… and go! Wait for an open pumper, then pump and go, so the next person can get to the pump quickly.

Remember your lunch number Sit with your feet under the table Keep hands, feet and eyes in your own personal space Raise your hand if you need help Eat only your own food Stay seated until you are done eating Clean up when you are done Help pick up trash “Mustang Café” voices If the lights go out, be silent to listen for important announcements Say, “That’s me,” when you hear your name after punching in your code Say, “please,” and “thank you” to our cooks

12 Returning to Class From Lunch
Looks Like Walking feet the whole way Keep your hands and feet in your own personal space Carry your lunch box Use the most direct path back to class Stay on the walkway

14 Lining up outside of class
Looks Like Building: Line up next to the window, away from the red line Keep your hands, feet and backpacks in your own personal space Stay in line the whole time until your teacher lets you in

Sounds like: Hallway voices ( 12-inch voice) Soft footsteps Say “excuse me” if you bump someone

16 Walking to and from Specialists
Looks Like Sounds Like Walking feet the whole way Single file line or pair line walking together Keep your hands and feet in your own personal space Keep your body and eyes facing forward Stay on the right side of the walkway Stay with your teacher Wait for directions from your teacher Whisper voices or no voices Soft footsteps Musical instruments off

17 Going to Parent Pick-Up at the Lower Lot
Looks Like Walking feet the whole way Use the most direct path Stay on the walkway Walk single file through the gate Eyes forward

Looks like: Wait by standing with two feet at the edge of the grass If you see your car coming, wait for it to stop at the curb or park If you see your car stopped at the curb, walk to your car and get in

21 Parent Pick-Up Looks Like
If you see your car parked, cross only with a crossing guard to your parent Sounds Like Say, “Thank you,” to the crossing guard Greet your parent by saying, “Hi,” or “How was your day?”

23 Going from Recess to Lunch
Looks Like Sounds Like Stop playing when the bell rings Put equipment away Use the ramp or the walkway Walking feet the whole way Eyes forward Stop at the bathroom if you need to go Keep your hands and feet in your own personal space Take turns grabbing your lunch from the tub Pump and go, walk and wipe, line up and choose a seat If you see a piece of trash, please pick it up and throw it away. 24 Getting off the bus and going to class
