2. Company Background
Power Electronics & Systems, Inc. (PES) was founded in 1995, in Torrance, CA.
PES introduced the first transformerless electronic ballast in the US Market with UL Certification in 1998.
PES was awarded a US Patent for energy transfer in Electronic Ballast.
PES introduced the first End Cap Electronic Shoplight with a unique AC/AC Driver.
PES has sold as of this day 6.5 Million Electronic Shoplight Fixtures with drivers.
PES introduced a surface mount technology in the electronic AC/AC power supplies/drivers for lighting.

3. PES has sold as of this day 3.5 Million electronic Ballast/AC Drivers.
PES has introduced a unique LED Driver with UL and cUL approvals with a unique electronic flicker stop. Patent has been applied. PES is in the process of introducing a complete family of drivers for LEDs with a patentable dimming technique.
TUBELESS SHOPLIGHT: PES is introducing a low cost and rare Tubeless Shoplight using LEDs for the US Market. This shoplight takes 60% of electrical power. A patent has been applied.

4. Factory in China
PES established the manufacturing facility in China to compete in the US Market. All products are manufactured at this factory including LED Drivers. This factory is controlled by PES, Inc.
PES products are manufactured at a high quality production facility in China and comply with ISO 9000 standards. In addition all PES products are UL and cUL certified with FCC compliance.
PES and its collaborating partner in China developed a unique stamping machine to stamp patterns on the shoplight’s surface
PES also has entered into agreements with four other LED Factories for the manufacturing of LED products ( LED Panels, LED T8 Tubes, LED Bulbs, High Bay Flood Lights).
