2. Translation of Surah Al-Faatihah In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds
The Beneficent, the Merciful.
Owner of the Day of Judgment
Thee (alone) we worship
Thee (alone) we ask for help.
Show us the straight path,
The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray.

3. Lessons from Surah Al- Faatihah
Allah He is the Lord of the worlds, meaning He made everything that exists, maintaining it at every moment.
We only submit to Allah s.w.t. in worship.
We seek His help in everything we do.
We are not allowed to direct any acts of worship, like prayer and asking from supernatural sources other than Allah s.w.t.
We should seek guidance in every matter from Allah s.w.t. first and foremost.
