1 Engagement 21st Century Learning Problem Solving Collaboration
What students are saying about technology in the classroom… Engagement Chromebooks helps us in school because we can go online and learn and it could make it more fun for students to learn. And if a student has a math question or any other school related question then they can go on to the technology to find out their question. Chromebooks can help me work on my skills in math and spelling and writing in a fun way. It can also help me because I am a slow writer. There is so much information that we can look at and find on the internet. 21st Century Learning Chromebooks can be used to help learn or work on projects. If its used on drive you can work on it at home. It can be used for research, slideshows, math memorization (facts). It can be a very useful tool if used properly . My favorite uses of the Chromebooks are Google Classroom, Google Drive, and math games to help make learning fun!! Problem Solving I like using Siri to help with my writing, sharing my work with others, playing games that help me learn. My favourite use of the Chromebook is creating interviews or movies. My favorite uses are Google Classroom to share my work with my teacher, plus if it is the Chromebook you can’t lose your work and it saves automatically. Collaboration

2 Collaboration Engagement Communication
How teachers are using technology in the classroom…. Collaboration Linking curriculum-related websites via Google docs for students, communicating with parents via See Saw, providing lessons on Google docs, utilizing helpful apps on iPads, using Read&Write on Google for struggling readers, creating presentations on Google Draw and PicCollage, etc. I love Seesaw. It's easy to share students work, have students share their own work, and communicate with parents. Having students create videos/slideshows, using google classroom to communicate information, having students research projects and seeing what they discover, google earth/maps, and as a teacher using google classroom to track work, Marksbooks, and create lessons. Engagement Having students create assignments. Also, having the internet to enhance the lesson, to explain what we are discussing. Google Docs for student writing Voice to Text feature for students to brainstorm ideas for writing Communicating with parents via Math programs for reinforcement (i.e. Sumdog, Matific) that generate results that teacher can use as formative assessment and differentiation Google Classroom Use of Smartboard for lesson delivery. Communication Seesaw is the best tool I have seen so far. It links parents to their children's learning, and keeps records of your students' work. I also like the use of Google for the students as there are so many applications that are useful for their learning.
