Traditionally, dinner should not be served until the first star has come out
Christmas soup: it is a soup with grouts and mushrooms.
After soup we eat fried carp with potato salad
Christmas cake, which is called vánočka, used to be a part of dinner .
An extra plate should also be prepared in case an unexpected guest or a person in need comes by the house at dinner time.
