2. Freak the Mighty
Kevin suffers from a disorder known as Morquio's syndrome, which weakens his heart and stunts his growth. Maxwell has dyslexia and towers above his classmates. Mia sees colors and shapes with every sound and letter, and she's in the third grade when she discovers that not everyone sees the world as she does.
