What Can We As Ports Do? Cooperation! Shipping is International! Perceptiveness – shipping industry, fuel industry, ports etc Be aware of coming regulations well in advance! E.g. CO2 Cooperation between ports in the Baltic Sea, customers and other stakeholders Standardisation, recommendation and harmonisation Effective port logistics including efficient IT system Environmentally adopted business Discuss problematic issues together
