2
What is Rice Farming? - Chris
Rice is a swamp grass that is widely used as food When humans farm rice in paddies, the fields are flooded and bacteria decompose organic matter resulting in methane which is called CH4 CH4 is a carbon containing gas Land plant to atmosphere and land plant to land animals is the process in which it moves Fast track
3
How it affects the carbon cycle - Mia
The temperatures rise extra carbon gets released When rice is being planted in the patties the rice plants release methane gas into the air Growing demand
4
Where should it be placed on the poster? - Matt
The rice farm should be placed by the water We can represent it as a rice field with the arrow pointed to the atmosphere The form of carbon is methane
