Edit and correct the following sentence:
last week while we where on Vacation my family visited the white house in washington dc
Write about this picture: What happened??? Choose to write a personal narrative about a time you did something like this or write a story about what happened to these kids. Use sensory details to describe the scene. Include at least 2 similes Use your words to paint a picture for your reader.
Purple word of the day: bitter – having a harsh, unpleasant or sour flavor. It is an adjective Use it in a sentence.

Last week while we were on vacation, my family visited the White House in Washington, DC.
Share your writing. What similes did you create? It looks like they were in a paintball war and the expressions on their faces tell me that they enjoyed it. Would you like to do something like that?
The paintball pelted my face and broke open dripping a bitter substance into my mouth.
