SPS team is available to help our members in extracting and validating the data from the POS system. The SPS team will send a Data and Delivery Requirements document package via once the retailer has shown interest and provided the IT contact. Once the sample data is validated, the member can start extracting historical data Data Requirements Summary of dollar sales and unit sales by day/store/product Information about the store name and location Information to help identify the product and its classification Data file contents in a simple comma separated value (CSV) or pipe delimited format Column headers included as the first row in the data file

4 2. Sign Agreement The agreement is between CHFA and the retailer member. The agreement outlines, but Is not limited to, the following topics: Conditions for Participation Access and Data Visibility Data Aggregation and Availability Maintenance/Support Prohibited Uses Registration and Account Security Confidentiality Retailers will receive the agreement from CHFA directly once the sample data has been validated. For any questions, please contact CHFA.

5 3. Provide Historical Data
A one-time extract of 2 years worth of historical sales data is required. The data format should be the same as the Sample Data. Once the historical data is received and loaded, then the solution is available to use. In the situation where the existing POS system can’t provide 2 years worth of data, the reporting capability will be limited at first, and as the data size increases over time the full reporting capability will be reached. Data extracted and compressed is posted to SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) through a secure web browser or SFTP client to ensure confidentiality. SPS will provide login information and instructions. The SPS team is also available to help our members in this process.

6 4. Receive Training Training will be conducted by the SPS team once the historical data is loaded into the system. The initial training is one hour and follow-up sessions can be scheduled as needed for free. The initial training will cover the following topics: Basic Navigation How to use and interpret various dashboards Creating Reports, Alerts, etc Access to online support and help tools SPS will contact the retailer to setup the initial training session.
