Is the monthly income from all sources currently being received by the household.
These are fixed incomes set by some government control.
Is typically a guaranteed income. The monthly or annual statement for this income should be filed with the claim.
Is not income from a job or any type of settlement.

Is income from settlements like child support, lottery or retirement withdrawals.
Is the any Interest income from stocks, bonds and other investments.
Social Security should never be repeated on this section.

In Step 1: Descriptive Name, any characters can be used.
In Step 2: File Name, no special characters should be used ever.
When you scan the document and save the file. Do not use any special characters or spaces in the filename.
VA will soon reject filenames with special characters.

Filing a paid funeral bill with the VA Form ez does NOT act as a burial claim. The VA Form is still needed.

20. Accrued Benefits
Filing for Accrued Benefits on the VA Form ez will only pay monies that were owed to the veteran BEFORE his death.
If the veteran had a pending claim when they died a VA Form Substitution of Claimant is needed to establish any Accrued Benefits.
