How do we raise tadpoles?

Science Objectives Students will learn the lifecycle of a frog.
Students will learn how to raise a tadpole to a frog. Students will learn where a tadpole lives and when to let the frogs go. Science Objectives

Lets look see how our tadpoles will grow!
Tadpoles will begin changing into frogs between 8 and 12 weeks! willowridge.shs.k12.ny.us

What do we need for our tadpoles?
A large bowl with clean (unpolluted) water Rocks for when the tadpoles become froglets Food

What do we feed our tadpoles and what do we feed our frogs?
Tadpoles eat….. Frogs eat… Boiled lettuce Boil lettuce for seconds and place on a flat tray and freeze. Place a small pinch in container each day. Plant roots Tadpole like to eat the roots on plants! Aphids Fish food Tadpoles like fish flakes! Crickets

When do we let our frogs go and where do we let them go?
We can let frogs go when they have lost there tails. We can let frogs go when they are able to hop in and out of the water We can let them go near any body of water, such as a pond.
