7 Program Expectations Expectations Rules of engagement
We all create a safe container and a safe place for learning We will be responsible and rigorous in our learning We will start from where we are at We will take risks in a safe manner We will set the benchmarks high We will apply the work in day-to-day situations wherever possible We will reflect daily in some way We will keep conversations going about our progress We will participate in all sessions Rules of engagement We will keep high levels of confidentiality (what goes on in the room stays in the room) We will agree to what goes “out of the room” to aid our learning We will be appreciative We will all be on time to every session

8 Scenario Creation Create groups of 5 and have a discussion about the particular tensions you may be experiencing in your supplier relationships. Share your stories within this small group. Decide on an example that is most relevant to explore in this program. Craft the story so that it has a beginning, a middle and an end. Create a name for this scenario. Enlist a narrator to contextualise and narrate the scenario to the rest of the group. We will video these for reference in Module One next week. “ The ability to perceive or think differently is more important than the knowledge gained.” DAVID BOHM

9 Program Outcomes The intended overall outcome of the Developing Successful Supplier Relationships program is that: participants build a shared understanding, partnering approach, and a set of skills and strategies for developing and sustaining mutually engaging relationships with Suppliers.
