Circulatory System Group:D’Mya,Ryann,Juan,Yaseen

2 What is The Circulatory System
The Circulatory System moves blood to and from every part of the body. Their system contains the blood, the heart and all of the blood vessels. There are three kinds of blood vessels 1.Arteries 2.Capillaries 3.Veins. On the the next slide/page you will learn more about the three vessels. Also, each bottom chamber is called a ventricle. The ventricle has one right ventricle and one right atrium same a The the left.

3 Parts About The Circulatory System
*capillaries *ventricle *Arteries & Veins *Aorta *Chambers Of The Heart

4 Facts About The Capillaries
Capillaries are the smallest of the body's blood vessels. They are only one cell thick, and they are the sites of the transfer of oxygen and other nutrients from the bloodstream to other tissues in the body. Capillaries carry blood away from the body and exchange nutrients, waste, and oxygen with tissues at the cellular level. Veins are blood vessels that bring blood back to the heart and drain blood from organs and limbs

5 Learning About the Left And Right Ventricles
a hollow part or cavity in an organ, in particular. each of the two main chambers of the heart, left and right. each of the four connected fluid-filled

6 Arteries & Veins Veins are blood vessels that carry blood toward the heart. Most veins carry blood from the tissue back to the heart. There are two veins that are different from all of the others. The pulmonary and umbilical veins, both which carry oxygenated blood to the heart. Veins are less muscular than arteries and are often closer to the skin. There are also valves in most veins to prevent a backflow. Arteries are blood vessels that carry blood away from the heart. While most arteries carry oxygenated blood. But there are two arteries, the pulmonary and the umbilical arteries that don't exactly do the same as the rest. The pulmonary and the umbilical arteries carries deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs. They are the only arteries that carries deoxygenated blood.

7 Aorta Coronary circulation is the circulation of blood in the blood vessels of the heart muscle myocardium known as coronary arteries. The vessels that remove the deoxygenated blood from the heart muscle are known as cardiac veins. These include the great cardiac vein, the middle cardiac vein, the small cardiac vein and the anterior cardiac veins.

8 Chambers Of The Heart The right atrium receives oxygen-poor blood from the body and pumps it to the right ventricle. The right ventricle pumps the oxygen-poor blood to the lungs. The left atrium receives oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to the left ventricle. The left ventricle pumps the oxygen-rich blood to the body.

9 Some Disease Of The Circulatory System
*blood pressure *stroke *hypertension *heart failure *Aortic Aneurysm *Myocarditis

10 Heart Failure & Facts Aneurysm aneurysm
High blood pressure, also called hypertension, is dangerous because it makes the heart work harder to pump blood out to the body. Also blood pressure often increases as weight. So make sure u eat healthy limit the fat you eat.

11 High blood pressure can increase your risk of abdominal aortic aneurysms as it can damage and weaken the aorta's walls. Blood vessel diseases in the aorta. Abdominal aortic aneurysms can be caused by diseases that cause blood vessels to become inflamed. Infection in the aorta. Aortic Aneurysm Facts
