* Have your child wear their felid day shirt if one was purchased otherwise wearing a shirt that is the same color or close to it is great too!

7. Changes for the New Year…
I-ready is no longer being used due to change in technology.
We will be using Performance Tasks.
Performance Task: is any learning activity or assessment that asks students to perform to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and proficiency.
We need a baseline that is more accurate that
we can test in beginning of year and the
end of the year.

Math Hike
Take a math hike and look for different geometric shapes. Estimate angles of tree branches and use a protractor to check, Measure and chart daily temperatures, rainfall or growth or plants
Cooking up Some Fraction
Use recipes and practice halves, double or tripling the ingredients

11. Put Math on A Menu Math on the Beach
After you eat a restaurant, keep the menus, Have your child calculate the total, tip and tax. Finding the most and least expensive items. Give them a budget and let them shop

Write numbers from 1-11 on beach ball. When a player catches a ball, they add, subtract, multiply or divide the two numbers that their hands are touching.

-strives to preserve and promote jazz by inspiring and celebrating the genre in the community and beyond .

16. Google Email to Eblast Supply letters are already up!
This new system allows the faculty and staff, to send parent bulletins, flyers, notices, and any other communications we need to relay to the 187 community.
Each students' family will be assigned an address (ex. which will follow them while they are a member of the 187 community.
