10 Not sure what to read – help is at hand
Use our ‘I Pick’ and ‘Stuck’ Posters located around the library. Use the genre stickers displayed on the wall to help you quickly understand what genre a book is. Use our lucky dip box for a fun risk-taking way to decide what to read. Take a look at our recommended read icons available on the library website.

11 Finding it hard to concentrate on reading …
Borrow one of our Playaways. You just need to ask at the circulation desk. You can access it here Read a magazine – a full list of what we have available is on our website. Listen to an audio book in our designated area or borrow a CD to take home. Great for long, boring car journeys. Read some of our short stories – they have this genre label on the spine.

12 Activities … We always have fun things to do in the library. Have you thought about: Signing up for our Senior Librarian Programme. Just ask K. Waree at the circulation desk Entering our competitions and quizzes Chilling out with a book at lunchtime, break and before or after school Doing the reading ‘Bingo Challenge’, when it is running Joining Goodreads – this would be great to do as a class. We strongly recommend it
