Vocabulary Visionary – given to or characterized by fanciful, not presently workable, or unpractical ideas, views, or schemes: a visionary enthusiast. Humanitarians – having concern for or helping to improve the welfare and happiness of people. Trustees – a person, usually one of a body of persons, appointed to administer the affairs of a company, institution, etc. , a person who holds the title to property for the benefit of another. Plight - a condition, state, or situation, especially an unfavorable or unfortunate one
Persecuted - to pursue with harassing or oppressive treatment, especially because of religion, race, or beliefs; harass persistently. Unscrupulous – having no principles, conscience or morals Promulgated - to make known by open declaration; publish; proclaim formally or put into operation (a law, decree of a court, etc.). Mortgaged - a conveyance of an interest in property as security for the repayment of money borrowed, to pay off a loan with interest
