BGC hosts its annual Club House Gala on September 28th 2017! Another gala—really?!? The promise: to deliver on time (you’ll be out by 10:00 pm at the latest), and over budget (that’s the goal: raise an obscene amount of money)!! The only “gala” in this event is delivered by the beautiful venue – Fairmont Hotel Vancouver! Relaxed, funny and informative, this is an “un-gala”, Boys and Girls Club style!
There will be tears of laughter from the comedy, and tears of hope from the stories of BGC’s amazing kids. Hearts will be full, wallets will be empty! Every nickel goes to making sure that each amazing kid gets a shot at the life they were born to live. You have to be there to find out how that works.

10. Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC’s most important deliverables are of the human kind. Whether kids come to a Club from age 6 – 17, or go to Camp Potlatch for a week every summer, our involvement with kids builds their confidence, helps them make friends and find mentors, make healthy food choices a lifelong habit, develop leadership skills, and increases the likelihood that they will finish school.  What is central to our success with kids is that Boys and Girls Clubs is uniquely great at developing meaningful and enduring relationships with kids that help them to know they matter, that we believe in them, and that they should believe in themselves.
Annually, we serve over 12,000 children, youth, and families -- and no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. The Club House Gala helps to make that possible.
