4 Wrote a grant for a class set of Kindles
Approximately 500 of Tucson High’s 3200 students receive Exceptional Education services. After attending Project ENABLE, I took the following steps to better serve all kids: 4 Wrote a grant for a class set of Kindles Moved 15,000 fiction books off the bottom shelves to accommodate wheelchairs Created a “quiet zone” and set up cubicles for students who need less input Added computer labs to accommodate Ex. Ed. classes Established a library of supplemental book sets for Ex. Ed. Dept. by culling the TUSD warehouse holdings Increased collaboration with Ex. Ed. teachers on library lessons
