Event programmes When events are long and have a lot of different parts we usually get an event programme.

They give general information.
Date Place Event programmes are given to the audience, guests and participants at events.

And extra information about each part of the event.
Time Person responsible

The information is detailed with names of speakers, types of prizes, etc.

Notice that inside the brackets after names we can find the person’s position or job.
Italic letters show this is the name of the musical.

A welcome speech comes at the start to greet people.
A closing speech comes at the end to thank people for coming.

Event programmes are like timetables. They both show times and activities. Sunny School 3B Timetable However, timetables are simpler with more basic information.
