About Tute • Established in 2012 as a pioneer in live small group teaching online • Set out to prove that Tute is as effective as traditional teaching and learning • Worked with 400+ schools, Chester University and Durham University to prove efficacy • Built a virtual school with qualified teachers to prove our online pedagogy • Refined, refined and refined through 15,000 hours of teaching online • Having proven impact, we are now setting out to disrupt tutoring by allowing students to buy seats in shared lessons for just £10 3

Key Differentiators Tute employs qualified teachers as professional tutors to deliver live group lessons We have refined a successful online group pedagogy over 3 years, which gives us unique insight and a sustainable competitive advantage Our online pedagogy is proven through independent research from Durham and Chester Universities, and from programmes delivered through local authorities and hundreds of schools in the UK A platform tuned for live teaching and learning, which is safeguarded, supports SEND pupils and is highly engaging 4

The Opportunity The tutoring is massive (£9bn in the UK alone), but despite its size 75% of pupils cannot access tutoring because of the high relative cost – the median cost being c £25 (twice this in the SE) In addition to the 25% of parents buying tutoring, 14% more would do so if the costs were more affordable By launching new group tutoring services at just £10, Tute research shows that the market will grow to 40%, and maybe more Source: StrategyR and Tute analysis 5

Tutoring hours bought Those pupils buying tutoring use an average of 4.2 hours per week (YouGov) Median spend is £24 per hour, or £100+, likely for a non-qualified graduate Equivalent on Tute would be £40 for an online, specialist qualified teacher 6

For a typical school this equates to 350 pupils Each child will take 4+ hours of provision per week, for an average 24 weeks Your pupils will be already be buying 33,600 hours of tutoring per annum If just 25% of parents adopt Tute, then you’d receive 1,050 free seats, equivalent to £10,500 of free provision for your FSM pupils every year 8

No Risk, All Reward! Tute will provide all materials to send to parents, and administer the scheme: We provide a leaflet or to send home to parents When parents register, they tell us which school their child attends We track the seat purchases for every registered pupil in your school Each month, we send you a report of the lessons bought, and free places earned You tell us which FSM pupils you’d like to register, and the subjects they should have We do the admin and allocate free seats to your pupils as available The pupil receives notification of the booking at least 24 hours in advance You get a summary report 9
